Joseph is an AILA-Registered Landscape Architect, Design and Project Manager with over 25 years of professional experience in Australia, Asia Pacific and the Arabian Gulf. His long list of completed projects reflects his broad and varied experience in project management, design management, landscape architecture, urban design and landscape masterplanning. He has a strong interest in tropical landscapes, placemaking and urban design. He has managed large teams on landmark projects such as the Al Seef Waterfront in Abu Dhabi, Cardwell Foreshore Redevelopment in 2012, and recently Mission Beach Redevelopment, Warrina Lakes & Mossman Botanic Gardens Masterplans. His company LA3 launched in 2011 and after The Cardwell Foreshore Project won the design of the Geoje Waterfront in South Korea for Singaporean Developer in 2014 under his guidance. He was design manager of the significant redevelopment projects in Abu Dhabi as advisor to The Public Gardens Directorate. He worked on the 2006 Asian Games in Doha Qatar at Khalifa Sport City and prepared Signage Guidelines for the whole country. He is based in Cairns as founding Director of LA3 and currently engaged in several important local projects including the Cairns Convention Centre redevelopment, Cairns Entertainment Precinct, Urban Design for several new communities and masterplanning of Cultural Precincts and National Parks Visitor Facilities.
