Cairns – Upgrade of Abbott Street – Wharf Street to CBD. The new CBD Link has been developed by LA3 in consultation with property owners and council.The proposed upgrade provides a high-quality pedestrian experience linking the wharf Precinct with the CBD. Abbott Street is the logical link and requires a streetscape befitting of the stunning architecture in these two city blocks.
