Located in North Cairns in the medical precinct and one block from the Esplanade, the newly designed Cafe illy is a contemporary corner cafeteria. Servicing the local community, commuters and workers with fine coffee and gourmet meals and snacks on the fringe of a changing urban context, this long awaited facility not only serves a void in the market but brings a modern and attractive commercial solution to the area. LA3 worked with Studio Mango and the client to design and present an Outdoor Dining and streetscape experience which activates a once quiet corner.
