Cairns State High School Quadrangle Upgrade

New building works at Cairns State High formed a new side to the school’s quadrangle and the opportunity was taken to upgrade the quad to a more usable assembly and gathering space. While maintaining the formality of the space, seating groups were located around the perimeter, some
under shade trees. The seating included bespoke cast concrete furniture designed for easy use by students in wheelchairs. Planting theme picked on the school’s colours – blue and white.
