New Caravan Park

Port Douglas, Queensland

LA3 worked with StudioMango to masterplan, design and gain planning approval for the new Caravan Park in Port Douglas. The site was low lying and surrounded by well vegetated natural creek edges. The layout had to respect these natural attributes and create a buffer to the Captain Cook Hwy. The proposed new caravan park included cabins, powered sites and a central landscaped resort area facility and restaurant. The Douglas Shire Council approved the development based on the high quality presentation and design by LA3.
