This VIA assessed a proposed 148 m² residence located on the western
slope of a hill within a forested area. The dwelling sits between two
existing residences and is screened by surrounding ridgelines.
Four viewsheds were modelled using a Digital Elevation Model to evaluate
potential visibility from nearby roads and vantage points. The assessment
confirmed that the dwelling would integrate well into the setting with
minimal impact on landscape character, benefiting from topography and
surrounding vegetation.
