Whilst at GHD Joseph was the Design Director for the Darra to Springfield Transport Corridor (DSTC) including the new Richlands Station arrival plaza. In line with his design philosophy, the landscape and urban design of the corridor ensured that the visual character of the surrounding landscape was maintained and enhanced by new infrastructure with contemporary form and function. Through detailed analysis of cultural, social, historical, physical and natural context, the GHD team led by Joseph, identified several character areas resulting into organic forms and layout which serves as the basis of the station precinct design.
