Ti Tree Bioenergy

The Ti Tree Bioenergy facility is an innovative waste disposal site located
within the historical Ebenezer coal mine void. A Visual Impact Assessment
was undertaken for Stage 1 of the landfill, assessing potential visibility
from surrounding communities and key public viewpoints. Three
viewsheds were identified, and the assessment determined the overall
visual impact to be low to negligible due to surrounding forestry
plantations, grassed hills, and the facility’s lower elevation.
Recommendations included targeted buffer and screen planting near
Queensland Raceway to mitigate limited visibility
